For the first time ever you can record to CD as easily as you would a cassette.
You don't need a PC, you don't need to load any software, you don't need technical help from a call centre or software engineer.
Put in a blank CD, plug in a microphone, press record and speak. Whatever you record will go directly onto the CD. It really is that simple!

You can record students in the classroom, hall or studio.
Our 'Real Time' CD Recorders are fully portable, just like any of our products. You can take them anywhere so long as there is a power socket.
The remote control allows you to control the CD and amplifier from a distance.

You can playback what you've recorded instantly.
Our 'Real Time' CD Recorders are fitted with integral class facing stereo loudspeakers, so you can immediately play back recordings in the classroom. You can also add to recordings at a later date.
Use the "cue" button to replay any part of a track time and time again. Ideal for language learning!

You can play your recordings on other CD players.
You can record up to 99 tracks (onto any CD-R or CD-RW), in one go, or over a period of weeks, months or years provided you have not "fixed" the disc. Recording length is dependant upon the capacity of the CD being used.
Once you do "fix" a disc you will be able to play it on most ordinary CD players - but you will no longer be able to add recordings to it.
CD-RW discs may not play on some CD players - check with your manufacturer if in doubt.

You can record assessments onto CD.
Crystal clear sound coupled with the easy access format that you would expect from a CD makes it a good choice for assessments.

You can now copy valuable Language and English cassettes onto CD - or create new versions on CD and transfer those to cassette. You can also copy your vinyl records to CD.
Many teachers produce Language and English tapes for use in the classroom. Cassette tape does wear out after a while, so mastering on CD or copying existing material onto CD protects valuable teacher resources.
Replacing collections of vinyl records are expensive and many older LPs are even unavailable.
Copyright restrictions may apply. Always ask the copyright owner before copying recordings.

Record school performances to CD live!
You could even make copies for sale to parents and earn extra cash towards the school budget.

Edit recordings on computer.
Once a recording has been made it can be transferred to a PC for editing or used as a sound track for incorporating into a multimedia presentation.

Our 'Real Time' CD Recorders have all the features you expect of a Coomber.
6 headphone sockets, stereo loudspeakers for classroom playback, simple operation, carry handle and winder hooks are all included.

Both the staff and the children will enjoy using them.
During pre-production testing we found that children were enthusiastic about making up poems, songs and even plays so that they could record to CD - ideal for English, Languages, ICT, Music, Dance & Drama classes amongst others.
