Coomber and the National Curriculum
In a world increasingly dominated by computer technology, children are becoming restricted by the rigid confines of the programmers imagination. To help develop their minds, children need the opportunity to gather and work with information from the rich variety of sources in the "Real World".
Hearing and responding to the sounds around us are as important now as they have ever been. Coomber provides practical and reliable resource tools which help to develop many of the skills we need in real life.
Our equipment can be used in many areas of the National Curriculum. Literacy is once again becoming a required focus for teaching - speaking and listening development being essential for children of all ages. Music and dance continue to be important along with drama and physical education. In these and in other core subjects Coomber equipment offers a useful teaching resource at any Key Stage.
