FREQUENCY
Where fitted to PA equipment, our UHF receiver boards are set to operate on a single frequency. The UHF frequency will be shown on a white label affixed to the rear, or base of the equipment.
The microphone (or bodypack transmitter) has to match the frequency of the receiver to work.
We supply UHF radio mic equipment on four frequencies:-
863.150, 863.725, 864.150 and 864.850.
Before ordering a radio mic or bodypack please check the frequency as described on the white label. (UHF frequencies are described on the labels as S1, S2, S3 or S4). Please note that until recently, all our radio mic equipment operated under the VHF (Very High Frequency) range. We still stock some VHF equipment to help with your requirements.
ONE AT A TIME
You can only use one radio mic with a "matched" receiver. Try operating two on the same frequency and one will interfere with the other - causing sound problems!
If you want to use more than one radio mic, you will need "matched" mic and receivers on two different frequencies, say 863.150 and 864.150.
