Extension speakers draw their power from the equipment into which they are connected. Thus, they will not increase sound levels, but will spread and direct sound more effectively.

Booster speakers incorporate their own mains powered amplifiers. They simply take a "line level" feed from the source equipment and amplify it without drawing power away from that equipment. Using booster speakers increases the sound output.

Booster speakers can be "daisy-chained" together, boosting the sound still further.

You can add as many booster speakers as you want, because they only take a "line level" output from the main piece of equipment!

In the guide below, the symbol * denotes that 2 speakers are required.

20W rms, 8 ohm, fully waterproof speaker with rubber casing. 3m speaker lead with 2 pin. DIN plug.

Ideal for synchronised swimming activities. They can only be heard when the speaker and the swimmer are underwater. Once out of water it will appear to make no (or very little) sound and this can confuse people into believing that it is faulty or that the volume is not turned up enough!

Note: This product should only be used in combination with battery operated PA systems such as our 2100/R models. Extra care should always be taken when using any electrical equipment near or in water.
