My 2015, 2017, 2018 won't work...
...but the red light's on!
In common with EEC requirements on certain types of electrical equipment, these models incorporate a multi-coloured indicator.

image - power off, neon glows red

Plugged into the wall with the wall socket switched on, the indicator will glow RED. but nothing works...

image - power on, neon glows yellow

...until you press the power button on the front of the unit - and make the indicator glow YELLOW.

image - running on battery, image glows green

If fitted with a rechargeable battery and disconnected from the mains, the indicator will glow GREEN when the button is pressed in.
If the green indicator flashes, the battery requires charging.

When the unit is switched on, the LCD display will also be backlit...
