Variable Speed Controls
Variable speed control allows listeners to slow down or speed up cassettes and CDs. This is perfect for use in dance, aerobics and gymnastics classes.

Variable speed CD models makes it easier to hear pronunciation - ideal for use in language classes.

The two types of variable speed control are shown below.


CD Players
Standard Fitment:
2018, 2241/V, 2242/V and 2070/V (not /W or /W3) models.

A dial on the front panel varies the speed of CD playback from -25% to +10%.

When not in use, the dial should be turned anti-clockwise to the OFF position, allowing the CD to return to normal speed.


Cassette Recorders
Optional Fitment:
2020, 2240, 2241/V, 2242/V, 2060 models.

A dial on the front panel varies the speed of CD playback from -25% to +10%.

The variable speed control operates in playback mode only.

Standard Fitment:
3902, 2085
Described as a Pitch Control, variable speed is supplied as standard fitment on both the 3902 AAC cassette recorder and 2085 High Power PA cassette recorder. In both cases the variable speed facility automatically switches off during recording.
